AIRPORT: Looking for SB grand jury report? Look again

If you were looking for the San Bernardino County civil grand jury report that was released June 30 and that’s been mentioned quite a bit as folks try to understand why the FBI and other agencies may have been seeking so much evidence that could be tied to bribery, theft, fraud and money laundering, good luck finding a link on the airport’s own web site.

I just happened to stumble upon it when I went to the homepage and saw, in bright red, “SBD Tower Open House.” Hm, thinking that might be fun – it’s not often one visits a working airport air traffic control tower – I clicked on the link that led me to a page with … the San Bernardino County Grand Jury Report? Click on that, and it’s simply a statement from the authority about the report and its responses, but not the report itself.
For that, we’ve got you covered. Our story, “Airport needs better oversight, grand jury finds” from when the report was first released features a link to the full report at the top of the story.
UPDATE: A colleague spotted the actual report on the site. After you scroll past the airport’s statement, it’s the first link below it.
